Black Achievement Month

Updated: Oct 29, 2022

Black Achievement Month is exactly that - African descents celebrating their accomplishments and achievements annually every October, in the Netherlands.

These are celebrated through arts, connecting people with deeply-planted African roots to come together, to honor organisations and individuals through the Black Achievement Awards, held at the end of October.

The awards are in the categories Art & Culture, People & Society, Science & Education, Sports and Entrepreneurship. An oeuvre prize is then awarded to a person from the black community who has made an important and positive contribution to Dutch society to honour years of achievements.

Now what does this mean for us as a brand that's inspired by African designs? It simply means a further inspiration to deliver colourful and a stylish urban vibe to your look, dressed up, or down. Our high-quality socks have been created with the reinterpretation of wax print patterns and traditional African fabrics, to complement your fashion status and celebrate African cultures with a vibrant look.
